The London 2012 games has witnesses some absolutely awe-inspiring moments from American female athletes. The likes of Gabby Douglas, Missy Franklin and Alex Morgan have all produced performances to spark a new generation of young girls to follow their dreams.
Without a doubt the women's professional soccer movement in America would like to ride the cresting wave and, especially if (when) the Americans win gold, to extend the successes of Morgan, Wambach, Rapinoe & Co at home by relaunching another attempt at professional soccer.
