2 Chad Barrett Weighs Up European Options

Experienced LA Galaxy forward Chad Barrett is currently on trial with Norwegian club Valerenga.  With only six months left on his contract with MLS, the former UCLA Bruin standout is weighing up his options in Europe.  At 27, this is a great opportunity for any interested European clubs to acquire a US international and proven MLS goalscorer.  At the prime of his career, where do you think Chad should continue his career

Any where he can play that they believe in him and gets the minutes now that he is healthy.

Agreed. At 27 Chad is in the prime of his career and needs to find a club where he can play consistently. Norway is a good place to start, because he can excel with the physical side of his came and get back to proving what a strong finisher he can be. A move to a Scandinavian league would also give him the possibility to qualify for European competition. Chad should also keep his options open in other parts of Europe, as there are other leagues where he could step in contribute right away. The Austrian and Swiss leagues are two places I would like to see him try his hand.
